Empowering Employees to Bring their Whole Self to Work by Putting Mental Health High on the Talent Agenda

To find out how to proactively support your team's performance, watch our latest interview with Paul McGregor, Founder at Every Mind at Work. Paul's technology empowers you to gather real insight from your teams.

Like when running a marathon, your mindset is king. It’s all about being in the right frame of mind to achieve consistent performance by everyone on the team.

We are all very aware of how mental health, both in an out of the workplace, is having a dramatic effect on performance and it is crucial to open up the conversation with your employees and make it a safe space for them to share.

With this in mind, we interviewed Paul McGregor, Founder at Every Mind at Work. The company was founded in 2019 because from his personal story, Paul saw that this was an area in business that was being vastly overlooked. He now has over 100 companies using his app.

As the app is embedded at company level, it provides a wellbeing score and highlights the areas where employers need to focus from workplace wellbeing, mental health, resilience, self-esteem, connection, anxiety and overall company mood. It takes the guesswork out of what areas need urgent focus.

Paul's insight empowers employees to bring their whole self to work, in a safe and open environment. He has a very powerful life story to tell and a real passion to see wellbeing put at the top of the agenda. The company also provides training and tools on how to prevent and deal with an employee in crisis.

“Stigma doesn’t go away overnight, because mental health is very generational. However, we can all adopt a proactive approach when dealing with mental health. Besides mitigating potential risks, we can empower employees to have the right tools to manage their own mental health and become wellbeing champions for their peers.” - Paul McGregor

At Every Mind At Work, Paul works with 3 Mental Health Pillars:

Promoting mental health by creating a safe work environment

Providing the right training and strategies to manage mental health and to help others

Protecting employers so they know how to react in the event of a crisis

Tune in to listen to Paul share his story and work through his Every Mind at Work app.
